SEIBIFON’s Phone Refurbishment Process (Our Savvy Way)

USED SMARTPHONES SCREENING & SELECTION

SEIBIFON only sources high grade used smartphones from reliable and established sources, primarily the telecommunication companies. As a policy, SEIBIFON shall not accept used smartphones from questionable sources.

TEST & GRADING

Only high quality used smartphones will be used for refurbishment. All smartphones will undergo an
extensive system check (of at least 19 critical points) and testing by SEIBIFON’s qualified personnel using our own proprietary analytical software and instruments. Whilst the phones are being tested, a visual inspection is done on each smartphones and graded accordingly. Memories will permanently be digitally scrubbed¹ and systems reset to factory default.

REFURBISHMENT PROCESS

All the external parts of the smartphones such as the LCD (front fascia) and battery covers are removed and all the internal parts of the phone such as the motherboard, speaker, mic, etc. are disassembled and put aside. As part of the remanufacturing process, SEIBIFON will reassemble the parts (using only good and genuine parts) into a new life. SEIBIFON’s refurbished smartphones will now look and feel like new smartphones.

QUALITY CHECK & CONTROL

All refurbished smartphones² will be subjected to a set of SEIBIFON’s tried and tested QA/QC protocols to ensure that all fully remanufactured/refurbished smartphones perform up to SEIBIFON’s stringent high standards. Unlike other refurbishers, the 22 quality criteria are checked and assured by the inspection software, as well as the 5 quality criteria inspected and passed by manual/physical checks.

2. SEIBIFON maintains a “birth certificate” of each smartphones that it remanufactured or refurbished based on the IMEI nos. unique to each smartphones.
